Our Helicopter Long Lines have been developed through years of use in the harshest of environments.
Some more important factors to consider when choosing our long lines. The rope (UHMWPE) is supplied directly from the manufacturer tempered, this unique heat treatment increases the performance of the rope, and no other company offers this process. Additionally, a Durathane coating and has been applied. The weight savings, low elongation (<3.7%), and excellent resistance to chemicals and water ensure a long life Long Line. We proof load test our ropes to AS1380.1, AS4497.2 NATA accredited assessors inspect and determine the condition and working load limit of all our ropes and equipment.
We offer two versions of Long Line. Accessory Cover and Protective Covers. Accessories Covers are made from a heavy-duty synthetic canvas in a range of colours. The design of the Accessory Covers allows the installation of a heavy-duty electrical cable and kink free foam line. The double enclosure system prevents inadvertent opening of the cover during flight. The cover protects the inner core of the Long Line from direct radiant heat, especially important for fire suppression operations.
The Protective Covers are installed along the entire length of the Long Line. These covers are highly resistant to abrasion, cuts, common aviation chemicals, UV damage and vibration. It will not rot or retain moisture. The wide operating temperature range allows the cover to protect the inner core of the Long Line from direct radiant heat, especially important for fire suppression operations. These covers are available in Black only. The ends of the Long Line can be dressed in High Vis Colours/ Reflective tapes.
Heavy duty reinforced rigging thimbles form the eye at each end of the rope and the addition of a protective sleeve around the eye section of rope will ensure the ropes protection from abrasion and wear and tear it also allows for visual inspections to be carried out with minimal effort.
We also design and build Pendulum Hook Systems and any custom length and Working Load Limit Long Line as well as Complex Rigging Bridle Systems for Asymmetrical Loads, Flying Disks, and Static Discharge Pendants for high conductivity environments.

We also have complied with all relevant Australian Standards for Lifting Equipment and our Independent Testing is carried out through the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA).
